The Nelson Mail covered a story about our local teachers starting anew this year. Here I thought it was only children and parents that become anxious and excited about starting a new-year, well apparently so do our new teachers.

Mrs Heath, who this week starts teaching at Richmond Primary School, says

I should be as nervous as anything, because I always am before a new job, but I’m so excited and not nervous at all. I’ve always liked change, and this is a role that changes every year.
